We're a family of four!

Bob here -- Jamie's still in the hospital.
In case you didn't get the e-mail, our son, James Russell Patten, was born on November 12, 2008 (Wednesday). He weighed at healthy 6 pounds 15 ounces, though some of the nurses took one look at Jamie and thought they were delivering a preterm baby (one even told me Jamie didn't even look pregnant when she was covered by sheets). James was 21 inches long.
We are very happy. Ella took it well, though it was a little strange at first. But hopefully we made it clear she wasn't being replaced. She told me she loves Baby James.
The little man is doing well. While we haven't discussed his career plans yet, I did make some headway. I changed the first (and dreaded) diaper but survived (all you fathers know what I'm talking about).
As for beautiful heroine of the hour, she's doing as well as can be expected -- but C-sections are most difficult in the following days.
One last thing: We were amazed at how many of you offered to help in any way we could. We had no idea how many friends we had until the past few weeks. THANKS!
And thanks, Mom and Crystal, for helping us take care of Ella. We really appreciate it!
