Labor Day: Bob's office and other crazy adventures
Bob had Labor day off and we loved having him home. (He loved that he only found out he had it off on Friday, so we didn't have time to make plans that would keep him busy!) Maybe not set plans, but we did made him an "office". That's right! He is trying to write a book, and with the winter coming, he needed somewhere he could go. He hasn't really had anywhere that is his space...until now. We moved the boxes to either side of the shed door and put a chair in the middle. He now has 6 square feet of space where he can write. (I get clautrophobic just watching him!) But he loves it. It is actually a good thing for me too, since it makes we think twice before bugging him in his office. :)
It was also FREEZING cold! Okay, not that bad, but it went from like 80 degrees the day before to about 50, so we definitely weren't expecting it. I made Ella put on a coat and well, why not a hat and gloves as well? She got these from Uncle Dan last Xmas and this is the first time she has worn them!
Later that night, we decided to rent a movie (since we had a FREE movie coupon) and Ella took Aurora (her stuffed otter) to the store with us. At about midnight, she started asking for it, and Daddy became the Hero of the Day: calling the store and then driving back to get it before Ella would go to sleep. Thanks Daddy, we love you!
