Shocking news
I really thought things would "slow down" with the holidays over and going into the New Year...guess not. Here it is MARCH. The weather has been so mild compared to normal Idaho winters. I love it. I've been able to get out and go and do so much, it's awesome!
The Tea party was a blast. Ella tried relentlessly to have me tell her where the party was. As we pulled up and she walked up to the door, she turned and asked "Mom, do I know them?" Reassuring her, she knocked on the door, and we could hear girls squealing inside. Lily opened the door and Ella was in shock! She sat by me on the couch, just dumbfounded for a little bit and would come back and ask me questions to try to make sense of it all.
We haven't seen Lily and her sisters since last V-day party and they had moved to a new house (upstairs of my cousin Miche, small world, huh?) With the death of my old phone, I lost their phone number, but Lily's mom called just a few days earlier and we arranged the whole thing.
Here's the troops all lined up...and James on the end. He was a little outnumbered at this party, but no worries.
Tea party means dress up. Ella packed a suitcase with four dresses. Here Lily is wearing Ella's new Rapunzel dress that Grammy made.
We had so much fun, we went back for more the next week for our annual Valentines' party! And saw so many friends we hadn't seen in at least a year. Good times. Thanks for inviting us Katie. We'll have to have you out at our place sometime.

Lily drew this before we came. Check out how Ella's name is spelled. Lily said it makes the "uh" sound.
