Happy 4th!
Elder Paul D. Peiper from the first quorum of the 70 visited our ward on Sunday. He spoke about our freedoms and the rights we have to practice religion in this land. There are some who beg to be baptized and join the church but are told no, due to the countries they belong to and the repercussions that would follow.
We are so blessed to be here. To be free and I am proud to be an America. To live in a choice land, created on the basis of equality and godly principles. But this land is only as choice as the people in it. Each one of us must do our part. As we enter this political season, I hope we remember what it is we are fighting for and who we want to guide this country, no matter what "party" they belong to. May God continue to bless the U.S.A.
