To Utah we go...

My parents still haven't been able to go down to see their new grand baby, since my mom was in "Savior of the World" for our home stake. She told us to play Paparazzi, so the minute we walked in the door, we started clicking.

James has really missed his buddy (and only boy cousin) Nathan ever since he moved to Utah. "Nathan's mommy, where's Nathan?"

Where's my niece?

As soon as I got her, Ella wanted to hold her. She loves babies.

James wasn't sure at first, but when I put his arm under her head, he glowed.

He talked about holding her for the rest of the trip.
And he shortened her name. "Rena sit in my lap. I hold Rena in my lap. I love Rena."

Bob is still waiting for a niece or nephew from his side. Karina sure liked him, though.

All the grand kids on the Field side

Oh yeah and the real reason we made the trip :)
Jonathan graduated in Accounting from the BYU Marriott School of Business. We went to Convocation and Br. Brent Beasley (previous adviser to Alan Greenspan) gave some really good advice about not doing things, just because the whole world thinks it is right. He talked about financial matters and shared a story of what sounds like he knew the economy would crumble the way it has--2 years before it did! But Greenspan simply said in response, "well, whose are sobering thoughts" and moved on! It really helped to bring education and finances into the correct perspective. We get education to help others, we make a living so we can use our talents to bless others. It all comes back to serving others and being prepared to do so.

And our camera died the night before, so no pics of the whole group. Actually there is one.

On our way back from Utah, we stopped in to see our old friends in Pocatello. It worked perfect, we went out to eat, let the kids run at the play zone while the adults talked. Topped it off with free ice cream cones.

Back home Easter eve.
