Post reunion...
Saturday: We started home from the reunion and stopped a few times for gas, food, the like. Around 10:30 pm we hit Shelly, just outside of Idaho Falls and saw lots of fireworks. It was actually the side view, a different perspective. But it couldn't have been the finale could it? We had totally forgotten that it was the Fourth of July. Had we known that we would have worked harder to leave earlier and get home sooner...Bob had been driving since about 5 Pm and was so frustrated we might have to sit in the traffic for hours, like last year. (We didn't get home until 2:30 Am and the fireworks ended at 11 pm...he refuses to do it again!) Anyway, we were so BLESSED to be leading the traffic, It was bumper to bumper behind us for miles, but we never had to stop and arrived home around 11:15! A far cry from 2 am...Only 10-15 minutes later and we would have sitting for along time. Oh and to make matters more fun: we were out of diapers and the kids wake up when the cars stops so we had to keep moving or face the consequences...
Sunday: Last night, we planned to go see my cousins here in town. Ella woke up from her nap and started to get ready to go, but said she didn't want to go. I thought she was just tired and explained that we saw Daddy's cousins, now we are going to see Mommy's cousins...and then she got sick! YUCK! Okay fine, you win, we are NOT going to see them. Poor Ella. It is no fun to be sick but she did really well making it to the bathroom on time after the first time. I had already planned to stay up and do laundry...just hadn't counted on doing 4 loads till 1:30 AM. Oh well, it's done now! Ella slept pretty well last night and has been sleeping a lot today, so hopefully it is on its way out, and I am Febreeze-ing and Lysol-ing everything like crazy. We are pretty sure she picked it up in Utah in which case, we might already have it, but if not we don't want to take any chances, especially with James.

This is very unusual for Ella. She only sleeps in a bed or the car seat. But when she is sick, routine goes out the window. Feel better, Princess!
