Here's the good news: The head MRI came back clear.

It's great that Jamie apparently does not have multiple sclerosis -- but at least she'd have an answer to her pain. We're running out of tests. Jamie's too frustrated to write right now.
These past few months have been very trying for us, but have been conducive to our growth too. Jamie is proving that she's an even more magnificent woman than the one I married. She still goes out of her way to help people even when she can barely walk. She is patient with the kids, even when they kick her leg. She isn't bitter about the problem, though she is, understandably, frustrated she can't do what she wants to do and that she can't find the answer to what's ailing her.
We have been extremely blessed, though. Jamie's gotten through a semester of school with the pain, pulling straight A's. On days when she can't get out of bed, someone -- a neighbor, friend, or relative -- willingly answers her calls for help when I'm at work. Thank you. We have been very blessed.
Now we are wondering what to do -- our regular doctor has suggested a spinal tap, though Jamie is nervous it will render her incapable of taking care of the kids for a while. And it's just another shot in the dark. Anyone have any suggestions?
