JAMIE: First day of school, first day of school! I had one class and it sounds like it will be quite similar to my money management class last semester, which I loved!
BOB: He had his medical exam for work insurance and scored pretty decent Blood Pressure and is give/take 10 pounds lighter than a week and a half ago! Last year, according to the exams, he got the same score as a SMOKER! so about 10 days ago, he asked me how he could lose 20 pounds in two weeks...So I started fixing his lunch and he jogged at least every other day. One day at work, while sitting at his desk, he just had the urge to go run, so he did! It was awesome.
Ella: She was given a HUGE Red balloon. oh yeah, and one of her dreams came true yesterday...
This is the newest member of our family and word spreads like wild fire!!

We have been looking for a vehicle for about a month now and really didn't want a "van" :) but we wanted the extra seats and more cargo space. With such a low budget already saved up ($5k), we couldn't find a decent 3rd seat SUV type in our price range, and we were sick of being laughed at because we wouldn't finance. Bob decided he would rather get a van than go up in price. It took a little convincing him (any myself) that we couldn't afford the 'cool factor' right now.
Anyway, we got this baby at a LOSS to the company. They would have had to ship it to an auction, so we paid what they paid and didn't have to finance at all. It was beautiful, except that is doesn't do a thing to build our credit. (Don't get me started on how messed up the system is...)
Once we decided to get it Bob said "Happy first day of School, but don't expect this every day!"
JAMES: After a long day of being really good, he got to take a 2 hour nap with Mommy! Beautiful!
(PS. The van's alarm system screamed at us (at the temple) last night at midnight, so it's not on Bob's good list right now.) But other than that, it's great. Our friend came out told us we have a "goober mobile" and then started saying how nice it was. Hope he doesn't want a ride anytime soon :) Any one else want one?
